Associate Dean of School of Management Jun QI Led a Delegation to Attend the 25th AMAB & BGA Business School Capacity-Building Workshop in Hangzhou

On 2nd March, the 25th AMAB & BGA Business School Capacity-Building Workshop was held in Hangzhou. The Workshop was jointly organized by School of Management of Zhejiang University of Technology, Global Entrepreneurship Research Center of Zhejiang University, Education Alliance for Entrepreneurship under Silk Road and Zhejiang Behavioral Science Society. Yao CHEN, member of the University Party Committee and Vice President of Zhejiang University of Technology and Zhongming WANG, senior professor of liberal arts at Zhejiang University and director of the Global Entrepreneurship Research Center, attended and delivered speeches. Professor Zhengwei LI, Party Secretary of School of Management, Zhejiang University of Technology presided over the workshop. The workshop aims to open up new arenas in the MBA program, attracting representatives from more than fifty high-level institutions across the country. Jun QI, Associate Dean of School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY and Guitong CHEN, International Accreditation Assistant attended the workshop.


Jun QI Participated in Round-Table Forum


In the afternoon, experts and scholars held three round-table discussions on different topics, namely, the capacity building of MBA program of Schools of Economics and Management, the construction of model courses and sample majors, and the cooperative demonstration base of Entrepreneurship Education Alliance within the Silk Road. Jun QI was invited to participate in the first round-table forum, in which she noted that the School of Management of Jinan University, by levering international accreditation, has integrated a green development strategy into the MBA professional training program to improve the sustainable development capability of the School. Jun QI also pointed out a series of initiatives of the SoM to establish overseas campuses, including Singapore and Japan, in response to the national strategy of The Belt and Road Initiative, which highlights the advantages of JINAN UNIVERSITY in running a business school for overseas Chinese.

The School of Management has always actively participated in dialogues and cooperation of education in responsible management and sustainable development. SoM has proposed fresh ideas for enhancing the sustainability of talent cultivation under the MBA program by continuously optimizing its top-level design and strategies, and by learning from the achievements of its sister institutes and universities.
