On June 6^th, the International Affairs Office of School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY, in partnership with the school’s Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office, convened a seminar on the Assessment of Learning (AoL) for undergraduate programs in Room 504, Hui Quan Building. Led by Jiecong LI from the International Affairs Office and presided over by Chungang WANG, Director of Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office, the seminar addressed feedback from AoL evaluations of this semester, engaging over 20 faculty members.

During the seminar, Jiecong LI provided an in-depth explanation of the AoL assessment process within the AACSB's six-year accreditation cycle, focusing on the design of competency goals, learning objectives and rubrics, the application of direct and indirect measures, and the composition of assessment reports. A subsequent Q&A session allowed faculty to discuss the AoL process and report writing, raising specific concerns and sharing practical insights. The International Affairs Office, in close cooperation with the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Office, addressed these challenges with practical solutions tailored to the course characteristics and data collection needs of the undergraduate program.

The seminar discussions clarified the AoL assessment process and work approach for the undergraduate program's AoL working group, accumulating valuable experience for collecting evaluation data across other programs. Moving forward, the International Affairs Office will continue to adhere to the strategic principle of "Leveraging development with accreditation", steadily advancing the first round of AoL assessments and promoting assessment participation among all faculty of the school, aiming to improve the level of sustainable and responsible management education.
