School of Management Delegation Attends China's High-Quality Management Education Development Seminar and CAMEA New Accreditation Standards Launch

On June 13th, 2024, the China High-Quality Management Education Development Seminar and the launch of the new CAMEA accreditation standards took place at School of Management, Zhejiang University. Jun QI, Associate Dean and Director of the International Affairs Office of the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY, and International Accreditation Assistant, Guitong CHEN attended the conference. The conference, themed "Navigating with Times, Embracing the New: Taking on the Mission of Cultivating Management Talents in the New Era and Serving the Strategy of Innovation-Driven High-Quality Development," brought together representatives from 277 economic and management institutions nationwide.



Leaders from the Office of National Education Inspection of the Ministry of Education, the Department of Degree Management and Postgraduate Education, and China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center delivered speeches. The event then unveiled the "RAISE Core Values" and the latest accreditation standards of Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA), marking the official launch of the new CAMEA accreditation. Distinguished speakers from Peking University, Fudan University, and Zhejiang University, along with representatives from CAMEA's council, management education institutions, and corporate representatives presented several specialized reports. These reports delved into the new mission of China's management education in the new era and explored new paths for cultivating management talents.



During the conference, representatives from the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY, actively listened to the advice of speakers from the Ministry of Education and various universities, integrating international accreditation experiences, broadening the development of modern management education with characteristics of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The School of Management will continue to promote CAMEA accreditation on its existing foundation, actively explore innovative practices in management education, and ensure the high-quality development of its management education.
