The External Mentor-student Meeting of Jinan University Youth Innovation Leader Program is Successfully Held

         On the afternoon of May 4th, adhering to the mission of fostering business talents and management elites, promoting school-enterprise cooperation, and further enhancing the social influence of the School of Management, Jinan University, Ms. JunjunChen , a partner of PwC audit department, led a team of mentors including Mr. Weiwei Du, Mr. XiankaiFu, Ms. Yuru Liu , Ms. Changnong Wen, Ms. Ye Runwen, and Ms. Jian Lu to visit the School of Management and jointly held the 2022-2023 academic year PwC andexternal mentor meeting of Jinan University Youth Innovation Leaders Program. Professor Wenjing Li, Dean of the School of Management, Associate Professor Jun Qi, Assistant Dean, Director of Undergraduate Education Management Office ChangdeZhu , and all students of the 2022 Youth Innovation Leader Program participated in the event.


 Wenjing Li first expressed a warm welcome to the PwC team and emphasized the School of Management's commitmentto school-enterprise cooperation. The cooperation with PwCwould be a powerful support for the School of Management to cultivate business talents and management elites. He hoped that students make full advantage of the theoretical knowledge and meet the actual social needsunder the guidance of PwC elite mentors, thus becoming excellent compound talents in business.

 Junjun Cheexpressed her sincere gratitude for the welcome from the School of Management and highly recognized the SoM’s foresting of accounting talents. She believed that the joint promotion of the Youth Innovation Leaders Program and the School of Management is an significant step for PwC to lay out campus talent fostering. She hoped that students can experience PwC's corporate culture and acknowledge the accounting industry through the program.

 After the welcome speeches, mentors and students of the program took turns to introduce themselves on stage. Wenjing Li and Jun Qi presented the appointment letters for the mentors, and the Program mentors also issued Program certificates for the students.

 Subsequently, Weiwei Du, as the representative of the mentors, gave the students a lively and vivid "first class of the new term". The students actively participated in the interaction and expressed their opinions. After the class, the students actively found their own group mentors for communication, and warmly discussed various issues.

The Jinan University Youth Innovation Leader Program and the system of external mentor are important measures for the School of Management to promote talent foresting. By participating in the program, students are able to shape their understanding of the accounting industry and PwC, identify the industry's current situation and development trends, and clarify their own future career plans.
