Associate Dean of School of Management Jun QI met with a delegation from Binghamton University State University of New York
On March 19th, Professor Chou-Yu TSAI and Carrie FEYERABEND, Associate Director of Admissions Office of Binghamton University State University of New York (Binghamton University), visited the School of Management. Jun QI, Associate Dean of the School of Management and Director of the International Affairs, met with them on behalf of the School of Management, while Jie MA and Yu ZHU, representatives of the faculty, accompanied by staff from the International Affairs Office, received them.
Jun QI introduced the philosophy of Jinan University and the remarkable achievements of School of Management in international school-running. She expressed the School’s vision to advance talent cultivation and enhance international influence, and looked forward to further cooperation and exchanges with international institutions.
Prof. Chou-Yu TSAI expressed his endorsement of SoM-JNU's talent cultivation philosophy and introduced Binghamton University's willingness and advantages in international cooperation. He said that Binghamton University has an excellent international reputation in leadership, accounting and other disciplines. Meanwhile, SoM-JNU is one of the top business schools in the world, which has earned a number of international accreditations, including the AACSB, and he hoped that the two institutions could join hands in the future to develop a new model of mutually beneficial cooperation, and to cultivate management elites jointly.
At this meeting, representatives from SoM and Binghamton University had an in-depth discussion on cooperation in undergraduate education, faculty exchange and other projects, laying a foundation for deeper collaborations between the two institutions in the future.
