Dean of the Faculty of Business, LINGNAN UNIVERSITY and His Delegation visited School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY

On the afternoon of April 9th, Prof. Mingming LENG, Dean of the Faculty of Business, LINGNAN UNIVERSITY  in Hong Kong (“Faculty of Business”), and his delegation visited the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY (“SoM-JNU”). The delegation was received by Dean of the School of Management JINAN UNIVERSITY Wenjing LI, Associate Dean Zishan LING and Jun QI, and Vice-Directors of the MBA Education Center, Yifeng WANG, and Tian TIAN were present, accompanied by the members of the Office of International Affairs.


Wenjing LI extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Faculty of Business. He talked about the increasingly close cooperation between the two institutions in recent years. Following the signing of the MOU in November 2022, the two institutions jointly established the Research Center for Inclusive Finance and Digital Economy, which provides an innovative platform for conducting diversified research and promoting synergies. The two institutions are expected to further explore cooperation models in joint talent cultivation and faculty and student mobility.



Mingming LENG said that with the foundation of the Research Center of Inclusive Finance and Digital Economy, the two institutions will be able to integrate their talents and academic resources, and jointly contribute to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He elaborated on the new breakthroughs of Faculty of Business in discipline construction, faculty recruitment and talent cultivation, and exchanged views on how the two institutions can achieve joint cultivation of MBA and postgraduate talent and academic cooperation through the Research Center of Inclusive Finance and Digital Economy.


At this meeting, the two institutions have reached a basic consensus on various collaborative. In the future, the two institutions will uphold the spirit of this meeting to promote pragmatic cooperation, jointly cultivate management elites and contribute to economic and social development.
