School of Management Delegation Attended MBA Industry-Education Integration Development and 13th China Business School Digitalization Forum
From October 16th to 18th, the MBA Industry-Education Integration Development and 13th China Business School Digitalization Forum was held at Southwest University of Science and Technology in Mianyang, Sichuan. Representing the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY were Xin LIAN, Admissions Supervisor of the MBA Education Center, and Qiulian GAN, International Accreditation Assistant. The forum focused on key issues such as the digital transformation of business education, new pathways for international accreditation, and exploration and practice of MBA industry-education integration, attracting over 300 scholars and business representatives from across the country.
The opening ceremony featured speeches by Weizhou SU, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Southwest University of Science and Technology, and Ping WANG, Secretary-General of the Business Administration Degree Committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, and Office Director of the Secretariat of the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee. Distinguished professors from Nanjing University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and other preeminent institutions delivered keynote speeches, sharing their experiences in MBA industry-education integration and digital empowerment of business education. Representatives from various enterprises participated in discussions, contributing valuable suggestions for the construction of an all-round industry-education integration ecosystem in the context of the new era. Notably, participants introduced the QS STARS accreditation, a new pathway for international accreditation, offering new ideas for institutions to enhance their international recognition and educational quality.
SoM will actively draw on the experiences of peer institutions in international accreditation and the development of industry-education integration, exploring more closely-knit and efficient models of collaboration between universities and enterprises. SoM is committed to promoting multi-dimensional, in-depth cooperation in talent cultivation and teaching quality development, advancing the process of international accreditation, and contributing to the construction of business education that adapts to the new stage of high-quality development. The SoM aims to cultivate outstanding management talents for the new era of digitalization.
