From May 12^th to 15^th, at the invitation of the Association of MBAs and Business Graduates Association (AMBA & BGA), Wenjing LI, Dean of School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY, Jun QI, Associate Dean and Director of International Affairs and Jiecong LI, International Accreditation Assistant, attended the AMBA & BGA Global Conference held in Budapest, Hungary. The conference organized 16 keynote presentations and several sub-forums, focusing on the topics of AI classroom and ChatGPT, sustainable development and climate change, market best practices, innovation and entrepreneurship, etc. A total of more than 300 delegates from business schools in 50 countries and regions around the world participated in the conference.

On the morning of May 14^th, Jun QI was invited to share at the Showcasing Distinctiveness and Differentiation among Chinese Business Schools session, introducing the efforts and achievements made by SoM in sustainable development and green innovation. Under the guidance of the ‘3+1 Green Strategy’, SoM has launched the ‘Green Innovation Management’ course, which selected undergraduates from SoM and the School of the Environment for interdisciplinary talent cultivation in the efforts to combine environmental awareness with business acumen and to nurture future ESG leaders and composite talents of the times. This initiative is closely in line with the sustainability concept advocated by AMBA & BGA and the UN SDGs, and has been highly recognized by AMBA and the business school delegations present.

Jun QI Shared Her Views in a Special Session

This year marks the 75^th anniversary of the establishment of China-Hungary diplomatic relations and the number of delegates from mainland Chinese institutions in the conference reached its peak. SoM was accredited by AMBA in 2011 for the first time and has been re-accredited by AMBA several times since then. In 2021, the school obtained its BGA Initial Accreditation along with the third AMBA re-accreditation. Dean Wenjing LI leading the delegation to the conference is an important step for SoM to adhere to its international development and advance its brand construction. The School will continue to take international accreditation as an important channel to improve its level, expand its overseas “circle of friends” and provide intellectual support for the construction of a new era of globalization.
