Delegation from Hang Seng University of Hong Kong Visited School of Management

On the 15th of November, Yervan HUI, Acting Vice-President of Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, visited the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY. Attending the meeting together were Julia LIU, Acting Head of Department of Accountancy, Paklung LAU, Head of Department of Management, and Fongyee CHAN, Head of Department of Marketing. On behalf of the School of Management, Wenjing LI, Dean, and Jun QI, Associate Dean and Director of the International Affairs Office, received the guests. Yifeng WANG, Director of the MBA Center, Xuejun WANG, Deputy Director of Discipline Development and Graduate Affairs Office, and all colleagues from the International Affairs Office participated in the meeting.



Wenjing LI extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. He introduced to the delegation the historical development, the characteristics of being an overseas Chinese university, and the century-old tradition of business education of JINAN UNIVERSITY and School of Management. Wenjing LI stated that as an overseas Chinese university based in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, JINAN UNIVERSITY has always attached great importance to exchanges and cooperation with universities in Hong Kong. School of Management has been firmly committed to the mission of "Refining and integrating Chinese wisdom of management, and fostering international business elites with excellent insights into Chinese culture", integrating the cultivation of Chinese business elites, the promotion of the spirit of Chinese business, and the dissemination of Chinese business culture into diversified development and cooperation.




Yervan HUI thanked the School of Management for its warm hospitality. He mentioned that although Hang Seng University of Hong Kong is relatively young, its tradition of business education has a history of more than 40 years. In recent years, Hang Seng University of Hong Kong has focused on the needs of students from both regions, actively built cooperation platforms with business schools in the Greater Bay Area, and looked forward to jointly exploring scientific research potential, expanding communication channels, and deepening academic cooperation with the School of Management.



During this meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on the cooperation prospects in aspects such as academic research, teaching staff, and talent cultivation, and reached a preliminary consensus on cooperation. In the future, both sides will be dedicated to building a closer cooperative relationship, continuously exploring innovative cooperation models, giving full play to the geographical advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and jointly cultivating business elites with international perspectives.
