School of Management Delegation Attended AMBA & BGA Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference 2024

From November 24th to 27th, 2023, Wenjing LI, Dean of the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY, led a delegation to attend AMBA & BGA Asia Pacific Deans and Directors Conference 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Accompanying were Jun QI, Associate Dean, and Guitong CHEN, International Accreditation Assistant. The conference, jointly organized by Universiti Malaya and Universiti Utara Malaysia, gathered over 100 business school deans and directors, educators, and academic experts from more than a dozen countries worldwide. The event focused on key topics such as digital transformation, AI-driven education, and sustainability, providing a crucial platform for exploring innovations in business education and fostering global collaboration.



During the conference, attendees engaged in in-depth discussions on critical issues including digital strategic transformation, sustainable business model innovation, and the development of global business education networks. Jun QI delivered a keynote speech at capacity building session, sharing School of Management's innovative achievements in curriculum reform, industry-academia collaboration, and the integration of AI in education.


Jun QI emphasized that today's era is marked by digitalization, AI, and sustainabilityEducators must equip students with the core competencies needed to thrive in complex environments. She highlighted the School's initiatives in developing ESG education modules, optimizing digital curricula, and establishing industry-academia collaboration platforms with leading companies like Midea and P&G. She also shared insights on how AI has enhanced teaching effectiveness through personalized learning and intelligent feedback mechanisms.


Looking forward, the School plans to reassess the balance between "hard skills" and "soft skills" in its curriculum, prioritizing the cultivation of students' innovation, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence to meet the evolving demands of the global business environment.



As an institution jointly accredited by AMBA & BGA, School of Management has consistently leveraged international accreditation to enhance educational quality and global competitiveness. During the conference, the delegation engaged in fruitful discussions with representatives from international institutions such as Universiti Malaya and Universiti Utara Malaysia. Topics of mutual interest included cross-cultural management, green economic development, and mechanisms for international educational cooperation, paving the way for future collaborations.



By participating in the event, School of Management has strengthened its ties with leading institutions in the Asia-Pacific region and expanded opportunities for collaboration in AI-driven educational innovation, sustainable leadership development, and global resource sharing.
