School of Management Delegate Attended Case-Based Teaching and Research Conference
From December 16th to 18th, 2024, the Case-Based Teaching and Research Conference, organized by Faculty of Business Case Consortium (FBCC), concluded successfully in Hong Kong. The forum brought together over 120 experts and scholars from academia, industry, and professional sectors worldwide, focusing on the latest trends and challenges in business model innovation and case research in the digital age. JUN QI, Associate Dean of School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY was invited to represent the school at the event and participated in a roundtable discussion, sharing the school's innovative practices and achievements in case teaching and research.
The forum featured keynote speeches and panel discussions led by scholars from world-renowned institutions, including Harvard Business School, Ivey Business School, and China Europe International Business School. Experts delved into the innovative applications of AI in business education, the future direction of case teaching, and the globalization of business model innovation. Topics covered AI-driven business education, the digital transformation of case teaching, and industry innovation, with a variety of formats including keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, and case presentations.
Jun QI delivered a speech titled "Innovations in Business Education Empowered by AI" during the “Case Teaching in Asia-Pacific Business Schools: Practice and Challenges” roundtable discussion. She explored how AI is driving transformations and innovations in business education, sharing the school's practical experiences in building high-quality case study platform, digitizing case teaching, and enhancing the global dissemination of case resources. QI emphasized the profound impact of AI technology on teaching methods and academic research, highlighting the school's efforts to publish case studies internationally and the critical role of digital platforms in improving case teaching quality and promoting global case sharing. Jun QI also stressed the school's commitment to deepening collaborations with world-class institutions and enterprises to facilitate the cross-border dissemination and application of business cases, thereby enhancing the global influence of Chinese business education.
As part of the school’s strategic initiatives for future academic development, JUN QI introduced the "Chinese Business Case Platform" under development. This platform aims to integrate global business case resources, with a focus on cases related to overseas Chinese enterprises, domestic companies going global, and green sustainable development. Aligned with the school’s mission of "Refining and integrating Chinese wisdom of management, and fostering international business elites with excellent insights into Chinese culture", the platform will serve as a bridge to promote the global dissemination of Chinese business practices and the integration of local management concepts with international educational practices.
The successful hosting of this forum not only provided the school with a valuable platform for international academic exchange but also further enhanced its global perspective and academic influence in the field of business education. Moving forward, School of Management will continue to innovate and advance case teaching and research, contributing new ideas and practices to the global business education community.
