Delegation from School of Business Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Visited School of Management
On March 14th, Professor Hao DING, Associate Dean of the School of Business, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (SoB), led a delegation to visit the School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY (SoM). The visit was hosted by Professor Jun QI, Associate Dean of SoM, with both institutions engaging in in-depth discussions on topics including international accreditation experiences, organizational structure development, and strategies for integrated accreditation advancement.
Jun QI began by extending a warm welcome to Hao DING and his delegation. She then shared SoM's extensive experience and achievements in the aspect of international accreditation. QI elaborated on the strategic initiatives of SoM, such as curriculum development, faculty team building, and disciplinary advancement, which have significantly boosted the success rate of international accreditation. She emphasized that achieving international accreditation is not only a recognition of the school’s educational quality but also a pivotal driver for advancing its internationalization.
Hao DING expressed profound gratitude to SoM for its comprehensive support. He highlighted that SoB is committed to enhancing its international profile, with a particular focus on advancing international accreditation. DING revealed that the primary objective of this visit was to seek valuable insights and best practices from SoM in the domain of international accreditation, particularly regarding application processes and organizational structure optimization. He praised QI's expertise and experience-sharing, expressing intentions to leverage SoM's proven strategies to refine SoB's accreditation pathways.
During the meeting, both institutions explored potential avenues for future collaboration in international accreditation. They agreed to enhance communication and cooperation, drawing on each other's successful experiences to elevate their global influence and recognition. The discussion underscored a shared commitment to fostering internationalization within their respective institutions and cultivating business elites with a global perspective.
