On June 5th, 2025, a delegation from Faculty of Business, Lingnan University visited School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY. The meeting was held in Huiquan Building, with leaders from School of Management, its teaching management team, and representatives from International Affairs Office in attendance. The two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions on three key areas: cross-border talent development, innovation in collaborative education models, and interdisciplinary integration, aiming to build a new ecosystem for business education in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

To begin with, Wenjing LI, Dean of School of Management extended a warm welcome to the Lingnan University delegation, highlighting the solid progress made since the signing of a cooperation memorandum in 2022. Notably, building on the co-founded Research Center of Inclusive Finance and Digital Economy, the first jointly-host international academic conference "Sustainable Finance and Development in the Digital Era" was successfully held in 2024, attracting over 40 scholars from home and abroad and garnering more than 14,000 online views. 

Mingming LENG, Dean of Faculty of Business, Lingnan University noted that their institution is focused on developing an innovative liberal arts education model for the digital age. He proposed sharing faculty resources through a mutual appointment mechanism, jointly developing a bilingual cross-border learning platform, and accelerating credit recognition and curriculum integration. This strategic upgrade marks a shift from academic exchanges to systematic educational integration between the two institutions, offering a new paradigm for collaborative development in higher education within the Greater Bay Area.
