School of Management Delegation Attended 2025 AACSB Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference
From June 25th to 27th, a delegation from School of Management, JINAN UNIVERSITY participated in the 2025 AACSB Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference, held in Seoul, South Korea. The conference explored topics such as business school accreditation standards, data-driven Assurance of Learning (AoL) and continuous improvement, and business talent cultivation in the AI era, drawing over 100 representatives from more than 20 countries and regions worldwide.
On June 26th, as an AACSB accreditation mentor, Jun QI, Associate Dean of School of Management was invited to deliver a speech at the "Navigating iSER Preparation" session. Titled "From Chaos to Clarity--Navigating iSER Preparation: Strategies, Challenges, and Best Practices", her speech provided practical guidance for business schools undergoing accreditation. She emphasized the importance of establishing an appropriate accreditation management framework and accurately identifying the intrinsic link between data and accreditation standards as key to report quality. She noted that institutions should track the evolution of accreditation standards, use data as the foundation, and demonstrate the relevance and alignment between factual data and standards – a viewpoint highly recognized by AACSB teams and conference attendees.
Since being accredited by AACSB in 2022, School of Management, has consistently adhered to "Leveraging accreditation for development," deepening international education cooperation mechanisms and interdisciplinary integration. Participation in this conference expanded the depth and breadth of its collaboration with business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. The delegation shared "Jinan perspectives" and contributed "Jinan wisdom" to global business school accreditation process, further enhancing SoM’s international reputation and influence.
Moving forward, SoM will unswervingly advance its international development strategy, plan disciplinary development from a global perspective, and lead educational innovation with cutting-edge concepts. Taking international accreditation as a key driver, the school will align business education standards with global practices, contributing wisdom to advancing global business education reform.
